RTS: ROSU intrusion in north of Kosovo, two persons arrested (Serbian media)

Serbian national broadcaster RTS reported today that more than 25 armored vehicles and SUVs of Kosovo special police unit ROSU and around 100 police members entered the north of Kosovo and arrested two persons. According to the Kosovo police two persons were arrested in Mitrovica North, one police officer in connection with the murder of Oliver Ivanovic and another person who was found in possession of weapon. Serbian media reported second person is a son of North Regional Operations Chief Zeljko Bojic, for whom police is also searching.

Drecun: Kosovo Albanians not ready to sit at the negotiating table (RTS)

Chairman of the Serbian Assembly Committee for KiM Milovan Drecun told Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that the purpose of the elections in Kosovo is to stabilize the Albanian political scene, to build an executive that will be more unified on key political issues and have a firmer position for talks with Belgrade. Drecun adds that one cannot see willingness among existing Albanian leaders to sit at the negotiating table and seriously engage in talks with Serbia. Milovan Drecun, a guest on RTS's Morning News, stated that there were no new political actors in the Kosovo's upcoming elections.

Chairman of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun said Albanians are not ready to take part in the process of finding out who were the perpetrators of the most serious crimes, Tanjug news agency reported. According to Drecun their aim is to make the investigations difficult, conceal the evidence and prevent finding of the truth. Drecun made these remarks in relation to the decision of Pristina authorities to refuse to handover mortal remains in Pristina of the seven members of the Serb families Sutkovic and Petkovic killed in 1999 in Djakovica.

Chairman of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told RTS in order to continue the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue it is necessary to revoke the tariffs and stronger engagement of the international community.
