Drecun: Final phase of Pristina’s tariffs plan (Danas, BETA, TV Pink)

Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Chairman Milovan Drecun said “the final phase of Pristina’s tariffs plan” is currently underway with the aim to provoke conflict with the Serbs and Serbian state, BETA news agency reported.

“Pristina works on it to cause conflict,” Drecun told TV Pink.

According to him, causing humanitarian disaster, respectively, leaving the Serbs without basic commodities is a tool towards the aim – to disable the dialogue and create conditions for conflict with Serbian state.

Pristina did not make the decision to move into action in the north of Kosovo on its own, Milovan Drecun and Nebojsa Covic opined, B92 writes referring to Sputnik portal report.

Chairperson of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo, Drecun and former head of the Coordination Centre for Kosovo and Metohija, Covic expect similar incidents would happen again.

KFOR: Action against crime, we do not interfere (RTS)

KFOR has confirmed there is a Kosovo police operation ongoing, in line with the Pristina’s prosecution request and it takes place in an entire Kosovo, claiming same as the Kosovo government, that the action in the north of Kosovo is a fight against the crime, RTS reported.

KFOR Spokesperson Grasso said the action is not directed against the Serbs, but against the people suspected of taking part in corruption and criminal activities. He added KFOR monitors the situation.

Drecun: Quint attempt to undermine results of Srpska Lista (TV Most, Tanjug)

Drecun: US offer won’t be on table for long (RTS)

Serbian National Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun told RTS morning news edition the USA realized that a compromise is needed in order to change the status of the Serbian southern province. This offer, according to Drecun, would not be on the table for long.

Drecun added Serbia must undertake certain measures if Pristina does not revoke the tariffs it imposed. “We avoid all the time to resort to such measures that should correct Pristina’s attitude. Pristina should not be punished, but it should start acting rationally and open the way for the talks.”
