Minister Jevtic congratulates the Day of Bosniaks (KIM Radio)
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns in Resignation Dalibor Jevtic congratulated all Bosniak citizens the Day of Bosniaks, reports KIM radio.
"The common goal of the non-majority peoples of Kosovo is the same, to persevere in the struggle for equality, which implies respect for all diversities, religious, cultural and personal rights of individuals", said Jevtic in a congratulatory note.
Jevtic emphasized that he, as the Minister for Communities and Returns, advocates the overall improvement of non-majority peoples in Kosovo.
"I want to convey a message of peace and coexistence, and it is only up to us to forward this message, to nurture good relations with each other, always respecting others and different, because only in this way, regardless of nationality, we will be able to build a better and prosperous life," said Jevtic.
The International Day of Bosniaks is marked on the day when the second All Bosniak Parliament, which took place on September 28, 1993 in Sarajevo, decided to use the term "Bosniak" and "Bosnian language", or as Bosniaks themselves point out, KIM radio reports, "to return their national name Bosniak".
