Djuric with the head of the OSCE Mission to Kosovo (TV Most)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric spoke with the Head of the OSCE mission in Kosovo about the political and security situation in Kosovo, reads the statement of the Office for KiM, Radio Television of Serbia is quoting.

Djuric pointed out that the recent intrusion of Albanian special forces in the north of Kosovo was a threat to stability and that it is necessary that international organizations in the field take steps to prevent such provocations happening again, reports RTS.

According to Djuric, stability and peace are in the interests of both the Serbian and Albanian peoples in Kosovo, as well as the entire region, which was disturbed, as Djuric recalled, by a series of statements by Albanian politicians in Pristina about the creation of the so-called Greater Albania.

Serbia is looking for a compromise solution in Kosovo, in fact it works in the interest of all whose ambition is to live in a stable and prosperous society, explained Djuric, the Office said in a statement.

During the talks, the prospects for the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina were discussed, for which, Djuric noted, among the political representatives of the Albanians from Kosovo there is lesser readiness, and confirmed clearly with the fact that two thousand days have passed since signing of the Brussels Agreement and reaching agreement on the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), which to date has not been established.
