Simic: Brussels should exert pressure on Pristina (RTS)

Representative of Srpska Lista, Slavko Simic told RTS that tomorrow’s meeting of Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli, PM Ramush Haradinaj and US Ambassador Philip Kosnett on taxes is of crucial importance, since the future of Belgrade and Pristina dialogue depends on it.

He also urged Brussels and Quint states to exert pressure on Kosovo leaders in order to revoke the taxes and make Kosovo Albanians sit at the negotiation table in Brussels.

Simic assessed that Kosovo leaders find themselves in a stalemate position, since they politically deserted negotiations by introducing taxes on the goods from central Serbia.

He also noted Srpska Lista attempted to fight for the rights and interests of the Serbian people through Kosovo institutions in all possible ways, however, it faced tremendous difficulties, since according to him, the Kosovo system does not respect the international law, international agreements, agreements reached between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as Kosovo legal framework.
