Threats to Marko Jaksic over announced protest in Mitrovica North (RTV KIM, KoSSev, Danas)

After announcing on Twitter that the first "One in Five Million“ protest walk would be held on Saturday in Mitrovica North, the municipal assembly councillor from Civic Initiative, Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) Marko Jaksic received a threat, KoSSev portal reports.

“Pal, you need to be hanged in the middle of Terazije, as an example. Shame on you, you are dividing the people, with all their troubles that is the last thing they need down there. Like they care about politics. Are you doing a favour to the Albanians??? My goodness, what you are doing!!!!!!,“ user "Balkanfox" wrote on Twitter.

Marko Jaksic told RTV Kim that he reported the threats.

“Nowadays, anyone threatening anyone with a hanging on Terazije, and after what happened to Oliver, provokes reasons for concern, so I sent the content of the same tweet to the Prosecutor’s Office for High Tech Crime in Belgrade and I expect their reaction, because in the XXI century political disagreements are solved with arguments, not hanging,“ Jaksic said.
