Vucic denies agreement with Kosovo on changing borders (BETA)
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that there was no agreement on changing the borders with Kosovo, BETA news agency reported.
"What can I say about that... There is nothing at all there... It must have been written by Thaci and Haradinaj. There are no points, let alone 17," Vucic told reporters in Trstenik, central Serbia, where he was touring as part of the Future of Serbia campaign.
Vucic thus denied a report by the German Frankfurter Rundschau daily on a deal that is supposed to be signed in Washington on June 12 and come into force six months later. According to the daily, the 17-point agreement includes a redrawing of borders which would add several majority Albanian villages in Serbia to Kosovo and grant the divided city of Mitrovica a special status.
