The abolition of tariff is ''a minimum of the minimum'' for continuation of talks with Pristina, Serbian PM Brnabic says (Serbian media)
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said in Belgrade yesterday that the abolition of Kosovo's tariffs on goods from Serbia was “a minimum of the minimum" for continuing talks with Pristina.
She added that she did not expect much from the upcoming meeting in Berlin.
"I do not expect much (from the meeting in Berlin), we are invited, we will hear what they have to say," Brnabic said after visiting the audio-visual archives and center for the digitization of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
At the meeting in Berlin on April 29, leaders of the Western Balkans and senior EU officials will take part, and Serbia and Kosovo will also be represented by presidents and prime ministers.
Brnabic said that she did not think that some ready-made solutions would be served at that meeting and that she did not think that such an ambition existed.
She also said that possible attempts to change the format of Belgrade-Pristina negotiations in order to make Serbia to sit at the negotiating table without abolishing Kosovo's tariffs would be unsuccessful.
Prime Minister of Serbia assessed that Pristina did not want a compromise and added that it's adopted platform had showed it.
