Vučić expects help from the EU, US and Russia on the occasion of the Kosovo Army (RTS)

RTS reports today that Vučić has said at a press conference in Kopaonik, when asked about last night's phone conversation with Thaçi that they did not agree on key issues, notably the formation of the Kosovo army which as he said violates the Resolution 1244 but also was contrary to the Kosovo's constitution.  He pointed that he expected help of the EU, US and Russia and said that those were big things for someone to play with.

Vulin: Serbs will never allow formation of the army in Kosovo (Večernje Novosti)

President of the Movement of Socialists Aleksandar Vulin said that the army in Kosovo, even by the laws of Pristina, can be formed only with the consent of all communities in Kosovo but that the Serbs will not allow it.

Vulin says that Serbs will never allow it, as well as that Serbia will not be able just to watch how on its territory, without the support of the UN Security Council, and without the decision of Serbs, armed forces grow.

The presidential candidate of the ruling coalition gathered around the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vučić states that he will work on the preservation of peace in the region, but that he will never agree with the formation of the Kosovo Armed Forces.

Vučić said at a rally in Mladenovac that a turbulent period is before the region, but stressed that there are boundaries that Serbia does not cross "and will never cross."

The Director of the Office for Kosovo at the government of Serbia, Marko Djuric, met today with the Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Li Manchang.

During the meeting they discussed the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, and they especially stressed “the danger from the creation of the army of Kosovo.”

They both stressed the importance of friendly cooperation and development of political relations between Serbia and China.

Veseli: Kosovo Army will be formed very soon (media)

Kosovo Assembly President, Kadri Veseli, said today in Pristina that the Kosovo Army will be formed very soon. “The decision-making process in the Assembly for the transformation is not as important as it is to have a range of investments in the Armed Forces, to provide the necessary arms and this is possible only through cooperation with the international community. We will make every institutional action in partnership. I have discussed this in the Pentagon too, the Army of Kosovo is reality that will be realized very soon,” he said.
