Case ‘Billboard’: Serbs did not leave destroyed houses and churches (Vesti)

The Deputy Kosovo Prime Minister, Branimir Stojanović, called everyone on restraint and urged institutions to closely follow what is happening in the village Mušutište. Stojanović addressed journalists at a press conference on the occasion of the appearance of a billboard in the village Mušutište in Suva Reka municipality, with images of killed civilians and members of the Kosovo Liberation Army, crying Kosovo Albanian women and destroyed houses, with the title; “This is what local Serbs from Mušutište have left behind after leaving”.

Without Belgrade the establishment of the A/CSM is pointless (TV Most)

‘Serbs will have an influence on the formation of the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM), since the establishment would be meaningless without it.’ This is how Branimir Stojanović, Kosovo's deputy prime minister commented on the statement of Hashim Thaçi, President of the interim institutions in Pristina, on Belgrade’s role in this process. Thaci announced that soon will be formed a working group for the A/CSM, but that Serbian representatives will not participate in it.

Albanians introduced ban on Serbian books (Blic)

Pristina has banned transport of books in the Serbian language on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, and they are confiscated by customs officials at crossings with Serbia, learned the paper.

The escalation of the problem has been confirmed with the letter sent by the Serbian Post Office on 2 June 2016 to its employees requesting them to warn their clients who are sending books through this company to Kosovo and Metohija, that Post Office wont bear any expenses if books are confiscated at administrative crossings.

Stojanovic: Pristina running away from problems (Tanjug)

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Branimir Stojanovic stated yesterday that behavior of Pristina, in relation to introduction of a ban on the use of Serbian IDs by Kosovo residents, along with other measures, is an effort aimed at shifting the focus of the general public from important topics, such as creation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and the beginning of work of the Special Court for the Kosovo Liberation Army war crimes.

“Persons who used to represent Serbs earlier in Pristina and who benefited from stilling from the Serbian budget are anxious because they are aware that this times will not return, and this is why they are doing this,” said Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Branimir Stojanovic while reflecting on the attack on the house of the chairperson of the Provisional Body of Llipljan/Lipjan.
