Newspapers that never arrive – obstructing print media distribution (Reporters Without Borders)

As print media publishers and distributors from all over the world gather today in Berlin for the annual Distripress congress, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is releasing its latest report, entitled “Newspapers that never arrive,” which sheds light on how governments, state institutions, powerful oligarchs and corporations obstruct print media distribution.

After five months newspapers arrived in northern Kosovo (Radio KIM, Radio kontakt plus)

After five months the daily newspapers from Serbia can be purchased at kiosks this morning in northern Kosovo, Radio KIM reports.

Zvezdan Mihajlovic from KIM Beokolp company which is distributing the newspapers told Radio kontakt plus that additional 100 percent tariffs, Pristina introduced last year on goods from central Serbia, were paid, however the price of the newspapers would remain the same as in central Serbia.
