Mustafa: LDK will analyse results in the coming days

Leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, wrote on his Facebook page that his party would analyse and reflect on the election results in the coming days but that it will take no decision before the results are certified by the Central Election Commission (CEC). “I thank all those who gave their trust to our coalition and our candidate for prime minister, prof. Avdullah Hoti, who led a dignified campaign”, Mustafa wrote.

 

Candidates of the Serbian List believe in the success in the elections (RTS)

All candidates for MPs from the Serbian List in North Mitrovica have voted early this morning, they told RTS that they believe in the success of the Serbian List on today’s early elections in Kosovo.

Candidate for MP from the Serbian List Verica Ćeranić said that she expects the victory and that the Serbian List “will support all Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija”. “I expect a better future for our people in this region”, reported RTS.

Braathu: Voting without problem (TV Most)

Head of OSCE mission in Kosovo Ambassador Jan Braathu said that the voting at the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo was taking place in a regular manner, and he expressed hope that until the end of the day, the situation throughout Kosovo would remain calm and problem-free.

Braathu visited today the polling centre at “Sveti Sava” school in Mitrovica North.

Vetevendosje: We will not allow vote theft (Klan Kosova)

Vetevendosje officials said in a press conference today that they have decided to take precautionary measures to prevent a possible vote theft this Sunday. Leader Visar Ymeri said they have doubled the number of commissioners that will observe elections and protect Vetevendosje’s votes. “We will not allow coalitions of darkness abusing our votes”, Ymeri said.

CDHRF: Serb voters “terrorized” by Serbia (media)

The Kosovo-based Council for Defence of Human Rights and Freedoms (CDHRF) said in a statement that Serb voters are being “terrorized” by the Serbian List and the government in Belgrade and that the Kosovo authorities are not doing anything to protect them.

CDHRF argued for the expulsion of the Serbian List from the election process and involvement of the prosecution into the party’s call for “lynching” of those who do not vote for it.
