Religious extremism still a threat to Kosovo (Danas)

“There are still two major challenges for security in Kosovo: the growth of religious extremism and the potential for unrest as a result of the economic, social and political instability. Djuric: There must not be political pressure on Serbs (Danas)

The Director of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric called authorities in charge for the rule of law in Kosovo to be responsible and open to families of those who are exposed to court proceedings under charges for being involved in political activities.

Yesterday in Zubin Potok, Djuric met with representatives of families of arrested Serbs and assessed that it is “important that there is no pressure on persons who have expressed their political stance in the region of Zubin Potok”.

Jahjaga ready for a meeting with Nikolic (Danas)

Pristina, Belgrade - Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga is open for a new meeting with the President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, whenever needed, whether on a regional or international level, the cabinet of the President of Kosovo said to Danas, answering the question of whether a meeting is planned and when of the highest representatives of Belgrade and Pristina.
