Jevtić: We will send an appeal to the Constitutional Court about the Trepča (KIM radio)

Kosovo Minister for Return and Communities Dalibor Jevtić says that the Serbian list will prepare an appeal which will be referred to the Constitutional Court with an explanation why they consider the adoption of the law on Trepča as violation of the constitution and certain laws.

According to Jevtić's words, the Serbian List will use all legal and democratic mechanism to solve this problem.

The Director General of Trepča, Jovan Dimkić in a statement to RTS announced the protest at 10 am in Leposavić/Leposaviq and in the village of Rudare and Zvečan/Zveçan.

Several hundred workers of Trepča from Zvečan/Zveçan blocked yesterday, around 2 pm, the main road Mitrovica-Raška, at Rudare, dissatisfied with the decision to include the law on Trepča under urgent procedure into the agenda of the session of the Assembly of Kosovo.

A Serb councillor forbidden to attend the meetings of the Municipal Assembly of Gnjilane/Gjilan (KiM radio)

The only Serbian representative in the Municipal Assembly of Gnjilane/Gjilan, Srđan Mitrović, from the beginning of 2016, was forbidden to attend the meetings of the municipal authority.

Mitrović says that the reason of his removal from the assembly is that he performs and as the Chairman of the Interim Authority of the Municipality of Gnjilane within the Serbian system, since the beginning of this year.

The Association of Families of Kidnapped and Murdered Serbs from 1998 to 2000 in Kosovo announced blocking of the administrative crossings Merdare, Jarinje and Končulj, until "their loved ones are set free and returned."

Gračanica: Regional Conference on the Rights of Roma (KIM radio)

The regional two-day conference on the rights of Roma, with an emphasis on the use of the Romany language, was held in Gračanica, organized by NGO "Communication for Social Development".

At the conference it was emphasized that the main objective was to develop and increase the trust between the Roma and other communities, the institutions; the standardization of the Romani language, the preservation of Roma culture and traditions, strengthening individual capacities, increasing opportunities for self-employment.

Shpend Ahmeti: The church a political, not religious issue (KIM radio)

Question of the temple of Christ the Saviour is a sensitive political issue that should be resolved in the Parliament of Kosovo, says the mayor of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti visiting the show "Dogovor!?".

Ahmeti claims that he is not for the demolition of the temple, but he is committed to the fight against the injustice that was done during the Milošević regime, that seized 4.2 hectares of land from the University and gave it to Serbian Orthodox Church.

Verification of diplomas issued by the University of Pristina in the municipality of Gračanica (KIM radio)

Graduates of the University of Pristina (relocated in Mitrovica north) can submit documentation to the municipality of Gračanica for the verification of diplomas, announced the Office for Community Affairs and the Ministry of Education of Kosovo.

The project is managed by the EU Office in Kosovo which recently has published procedures for submitting requests.

The right to apply have the students who graduated at the University of Pristina since 2001.

Stojanović: Desecration of the memorial plaque is vandalism (KIM radio)

Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanović strongly condemned the desecration of the memorial plaque again that was placed in memory of the kidnapped journalists, Đuro Slavuj and Ranko Perenić.

Stojanović says that the desecration of the memorial plaque is an act of vandalism, in order to forget the memory of the kidnapped journalists.
