Protest against discrimination and human rights violations (Tanjug)

Around 50 Serbian police officers suspended in northern Kosovo (Blic)

Around 50 Serbian police officers in northern Kosovo have been suspended due to their rejection to closely cooperate with prosecution and officials dealing with investigations on involvement of Serbs in alleged crimes committed in northern Kosovo, carried Kosovo Police. Bozovic: Bank accounts of northern municipalities blocked (RTK2)

Bank accounts of four municipalities in northern Kosovo are blocked as of yesterday without any justification, said president of the local assembly of North Mitrovica Ksenija Bozovic to RTK2, and added that it is about a pressure which benefits no one. Bozovic stressed that budgets of all four municipalities have been adopted as stipulated by laws and the Brussels Agreement and that there is no basis for the blockade.

Voluntarism a condition for deployment of judges in Kosovo (RTK2)

The principle of willingness should be the main condition for deployment of judges in Kosovo, however the question remains how many judges from Serbia would agree to be integrated into the Kosovo judicial system. The president of the High Judicial Council of Serbia Dragomir Milojevic today said that judges cant’ be deployed into Kosovo courts against their own will and that the first criteria should be their good will, that they wish to be integrated into the Kosovo judiciary, whereas the final deal in relation to a relevant procedure has not been reached yet.

Kosovo's Ministry of Finance: First amendment of the budget, then transfer of money (Blic)

Without the adoption of a revised budget in the municipal assemblies in northern Kosovo, the Ministry of Finance in Pristina will not allow the use of funds belonging to the municipalities, was said from the ministry.  Article 62, paragraph 5 of the Law on Public Financial Management stipulates that if the Municipal Assembly fails to adopt a budget for the new fiscal year and fails to submit it to the Minister by March 1st, then it cannot execute any transaction on behalf of the municipality.
