It is not true that "Elektrodistribucija Sever" is an illegal company. Kosovo law on energy, which is valid in Kosovo and Metohija, doesn’t prevent existence of another operator to deal with distribution of electricity.

Kosovo government informed that company for distribution of electricity “Elektrodistribucija Sever" D.O.O. which was established by Zubin Potok Municipality is considered to be ‘illegal company’.

EULEX confirmed that the house arrest order against the Mayor of Zubin Potok Municipality, Stevan Vulovic, was suspended on Friday.

Kosovo Police from the station in MItrovica North, arrested today Nazmi Ismajli, representative of Albanian population from “Kroi i Vitakut” neighborhood in Mitrovica North,  at around 11:00 hours, while he was working on the foundation of his house. He was interviewed for one hour and then he was released by regular procedures, but with the advice to interrupt rebuilding of his house, without obtaining a permission. “Yes, it is true. They arrested me and held me at the police station for one hour.

Kosovo Albanian representatives insist that the Peace Park, situated on the main bridge on the river Ibar in Kosovska Mitrovica is removed as soon as possible, while Serbs say that removal of the Park without any previous agreement could destabilize the situation.

The head of the Kosovska Mitrovica District, Vasa Jelić, said that Serbs from northern Kosovo and the Serbian Government believe that the Peace Park should stay until an agreement on that issue is reached and the situation in northern Kosovo is stabilized.
