Gecaj: Border with Montenegro should not be used for political purposes (Indeksonline)

Kosovo's Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Bajram Gecaj, said on Monday that the border between Kosovo and Montenegro should be determined by professionals, “based on arguments rather than excited politicians and led by the narrow interests of political purposes”. He wrote on social media that people must learn to separate the issues of national interest from those of daily politics.

Vetevendosje: The situation will remain tense until withdrawal from recent agreements (Indeksonline)

Vetevendosje Movement through a press release today announced that there will be no normalization of the situation if the government doesn’t withdraw from the recent agreements signed in Brussels. According to Vetevendosje, the situation is tense as a result of government insisting to implement the agreement on Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities and border demarcation with Montenegro. “The situation will remain tense until the government withdraws from these agreements,” noted the press release.

Bislimi to Zbogar: Rule of law doesn’t mean taking directives from foreign diplomats (Indeksonline)

Vetevendosje Movement MP Besnik Bislimi, reacted to statements made by the EUSR in Kosovo Samuel Zbogar who criticized Vetevendosje MPs saying they are not implementing the law while not answering the calls of the prosecution. Bislimi said that the rule of law means leadership in accordance with legal provisions, and not taking directives from foreign diplomats. He added that Vetevendosje members didn’t prevent the investigation, but according to him, they refused to become partners to Prime Minister Isa Mustafa's prosecutors.

Thaci: Ideas and projects should be brought in the Assembly, not weapons and violence (Indeksonline)

Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci, told the news site that he is convinced that the work in the Assembly will soon continue to function."I expect reflection in terms of normal work in the Assembly. Any other approach would be wrong and unacceptable,” Thaci said, adding that ideas and projects should be brought in the Assembly, and not weapons and violence. Ymeri: Opposition with the citizens will not allow the implementation of agreements (Indeksonline)

The leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Visar Ymeri, said today that the Assembly session will not be held as long as the government doesn’t care for its citizens. According to him, the opposition along with the citizens will not allow the implementation of the recent agreements.  "The protest will continue for as long as the government doesn’t care for Kosovo citizens. Together, we will stop the agreement on Association of Serb-majority municipalities and border demarcation with Montenegro. The ruling coalition must withdraw from these agreements.

Limaj: Calling the session was a provocation (Indeksonline)

The leader of the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), Fatmir Limaj, said today that calling the session by the Assembly Presidency was creating a provocative situation. "There are no normal conditions for the smooth running of the Assembly’s work. Instead, the ruling coalition should take this issue seriously. There will be no normality. There cannot be Assmebly sessions without opposition. The agreement’s will not pass,” Limaj said.

Vetevendosje Movement spokesman Frasher Krasniqi said today that opposition parties will continue to block the work of the Kosovo Assembly as a sign of protest against the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities and against the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro. Krasniqi said that there is no date set for a protest, "but in the meantime the opposition is giving an opportunity to the people to express themselves through the petition". “We discussed the protest but we have yet to set a date," Krasniqi said.

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has reacted to today's media reporting that Haradinaj allegedly gave 100 thousand euros to the Serbian List. "Today's news stories that I allegedly funded the Serbian List with 100 thousand euros are totally untrue. Haradinaj has never financed any Serb party,” he said. "This false information was prepared by Mustafa’s clan and his Serbian partner,” Haradinaj said. “Despite the price, I will continue to be on the right side and work for the interest of my country.”

Jablanovic: Unification of Serbs in Kosovo, no "Army of Kosovo" (Sputnik, Kossev)

Jablanovic denied writing of the Albanian media that he "lobbied" among Serbian representatives in Kosovo for the formation of the so-called Army of Kosovo, reports Sputnik.

"Time will be the best indicator and judge what we have done for our people in Kosovo. As for the 'Army of Kosovo" it is neither objective nor our interest, and I'm looking at this disinformation as a lie that will remain just that - a lie," notes Jablanovic.
