Serbian Minister for Education Srdjan Verbić and representatives of four representative unions have negotiated about lay-offs in the education sector. Around 700 teachers who used to work in Kosovo will most probably be offered indemnity payments. These teachers are not working at all for years and their salaries are around RSD 8.000, while state is paying for their social and health insurance.

Kosovo parliament MPs have paved the way for creation of the special court for the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) crimes. The head of the Serbian List caucus in the Kosovo parliament Slavko Simić said to RTK2 that he expected more MPs to support constitutional amendments that paved the way for creation of the special court for Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) crimes. Simić said that some MPs might have been exposed to certain pressure to support the amendments.

All reached agreements would become part of legislation through ratification.

Legally binding agreement which Belgrade is supposed to sign with Pristina will be verified by the European Union, and then it would reach Serbian parliament for ratification in a form of the ‘agreement between the EU and Serbia that refers to Kosovo’ in order to become part of our legislation.

Kosovo would be saved from early elections only if some of the deputies of the Democratic League of Kosovo have already stated that they would not vote Thaci for the president, change their minds.
