Selimi: Hoxhaj has not called for participation in Syrian war (Telegrafi)

Kosovo institutions, namely Minister of Foreign Affairs Enver Hoxhaj, has never made a call for supporting opposition forces in Syria, said Deputy Foreign Minister, Petrit Selimi. He said there are attempts by certain individuals to mask their actions with a meeting Kosovo Government officials had with Syrian democratic opposition in Pristina. Kosovo’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, writes in an opinion piece that “although Kosovo is a secular state with a secular society, lately we have been hearing radical statements by some Islamic religious leaders who were educated in Arab and Islamic countries. They preach an Islam that is very different from Albanian Islam and a way of life that is different from reality in Kosovo”. Ban requests establishment of Special Court by early 2015 at the latest (Koha)

The paper reports on page two that United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, in his quarterly report on Kosovo, has called on Kosovo institutions to establish, by early 2015 at the latest, the Special Court that will handle allegations of war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army. In his report, Ban talks about the political situation in the country, with special emphasis on the northern part of Mitrovica following tensions after the construction of the Peace Park on Ibër/Ibar River.

Forty men suspected of fighting in Iraq and Syria have been arrested by police in Kosovo, in an operation targeting Islamist extremists. Up to 200 Kosovo Albanians have travelled to the Middle East to fight and 16 of them have died, reports say. Some of those held are suspected of involvement in Islamic State (IS) and Syria's Nusra Front. Several European countries are trying to stop people volunteering for militant groups. Drecun: Serbs from the “Srpska” list not in Kosovo diplomacy (International Radio Serbia)

Head of the parliamentary board for Kosmet Milovan Drecun has stated that the representatives of the “Srpska” list in Kosmet will not take positions in the Kosovo diplomacy. Judging by their statements, such thing is impossible because the representatives of that list will act in line with the Serbian Constitution, stating that Kosmet is a UN protectorate and the southern Serbian province. Drecun has specified for the “Vecernje Novosti” daily that the Kosmet Serbs have no place in the Kosovo diplomacy, as for them Kosovo is not a state.

Stones on Serbian house in Gnjilane/Gilan (RTV)

Unknown perpetrators have stoned the house of family Nojic in the suburb Kamnik in Gnjilane/Gilan. The incident inflicted material damage on the house, whereas no one was injured, carried RTK and added that family Nojic is frequently targeted.

A brick was thrown on the windscreen of the vehicle, whereas a window was repeatedly broken on the second story of the house, said Srdjan Nojic.
