Maxhuni is being interviewed behind the closed doors (RTK)
Former Director of Kosovo Police Shpend Maxhuni is being interviewed by the Kosovo Assembly MPs respectively members of the parliamentary investigating committee to shed light on the case of expelling six Turkish citizens.
With the request of the MP from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) Muharrem Nitaj, the interview is being held behind the closed doors, without presence of the media. Head of this committee Xhelal Svecla said the duration of the interview depends on the responses that they will receive.
Expelling of six Turkish citizens without any procedure happened in March of this year, at the time when Shpend Maxhuni was Kosovo Police Director.
He was later nominated Director of Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), after Driton Gashi’s dismissal from this position related to this same case.
