The portal reports that ''Kosovo Public TV - Radio Television of Kosovo reported shocking allegations that a plan was hatched following a meeting of the Security Coordination Bureau held on December 15th, to carry out an incident such as the Panda cafe attack that occurred 20 years ago in Pec, when six Serbian young men were killed.''
US ambassador: Army a positive step, some misunderstood that US support border change (B92, RTK)
New US Ambassador in Pristina Philip Kosnett said that the announced formation of Kosovo army was a "a positive step."
Kosnett told RTK broadcaster in an interview late on Thursday that "Kosovo's leaders have talked about how the Kosovo Armed Forces could participate in peace-keeping operations overseas." And according to him, they also said that "Kosovo has reached the point where instead of only being a consumer of international security that it can contribute to it."
Maxhuni is being interviewed behind the closed doors (RTK)
Former Director of Kosovo Police Shpend Maxhuni is being interviewed by the Kosovo Assembly MPs respectively members of the parliamentary investigating committee to shed light on the case of expelling six Turkish citizens.
With the request of the MP from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) Muharrem Nitaj, the interview is being held behind the closed doors, without presence of the media. Head of this committee Xhelal Svecla said the duration of the interview depends on the responses that they will receive.
Hahn to visit Kosovo in the beginning of December (RTK)
The Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj and Kosovo’s Minister for European Integration Dhurata Hoxha said at a press conference that the EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn will be visiting Kosovo in the beginning of December.
According to Haradinaj, this visit conveys the message that Kosovo is a serious candidate for the status of EU candidate, however he admitted that there are more specific laws which require special vote.
O’Connell speaks about the idea of correction of the borders (RTK)
The British Ambassador to Kosovo Ruairi O’Connell has continued with his practice of responding to the questions of the citizens on the social network, Facebook. Asked about the recent idea of correction of the borders, he said the position of Britain with regards to borders has not changed.
“Why are you asking when you know the position of Britain. Our position has not changed since 2005,” O’Connell wrote.
