RTS crew held up at Jarinje crossing allowed to enter Kosovo, UNS condemns delayed entry (KoSSev, RTS)

A large group of RTS crew members travelling to Mitrovica North was held up at Jarinje crossing point yesterday RTS reported. According to RTS its convoy with equipment has been waiting at Jarinje for 20 hours despite paperwork dully submitted. After the delay the convoy entered Kosovo. Meanwhile, KoSSev portal reports that both Kosovo police and customs claimed they are “not responsible.“ Kosovo police spokesperson Daut Hoxha told KoSSev that the police did not impose an entry ban and that the portal should contact Kosovo customs.

Shaban Berisha (47) received three-month suspended sentence and EUR 200 fine over demolishing the memorial plaque dedicated to the missing journalists Djuro Slavuj and Ranko Penezic, while ethnic motives were excluded from the verdict, Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) said in a statement. A suspect, Shaban Berisha (47) confessed he eradicated by an excavator, a memorial plaque dedicated to the missing journalists Djuro Slavuj and Ranko Perenic, on 30 January 2019, Djakovica police report said. Journalists' Association of Serbia: To determine who hacked the sites of the ''Slobodno Srpski'' and Media Center (Kossev)

The Journalists’ Association of Serbia (UNS), through its Kosovo branch requests the Kosovo police and the Prosecutor’s Office to determine who is behind the attacks on the sites of ''Slobodno Srpski'' and Media Centar from Caglavica.

The sites were hacked following the Journalists’ Association of Serbia in Kosovo posthumously awarded the ''Beli Bozur '' award to Oliver Ivanovic for the best cooperation with the media and journalists.
