Serbs will say Gazivode is poisoned, RTK claims. On the other hand, the Kosovo Office accuses Pristina of spreading ''false news out of despair''.

After Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj accused a group of Serb entrepreneurs from the north of Kosovo last week of ''attempting to stage a humanitarian catastrophe'' in coordination with Belgrade, citing names of the alleged organizers of this action, media reporting in Albanian started paying close attention to the situation in the north.

Marko Vulovic, manager of Gazivode lake does not exclude possibility Albanians might think to take over Gazivode by force, warning that this could have unprecedented consequences to the both sides.

He noted Gazivode management is in a permanent contact with the Serbian state, in order to make a preventive decision to stop “such mad ideas.”

Chairman of the Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told RTS the statute on the mining complex Trepca adopted by the Kosovo Assembly reflects that Pristina in addition to political, does legal violence too.

Drecun added Pristina for years is attempting to take away private properties belonging to the Serbs, and it is passing different laws, so the Serbs stand no chance to prove their ownership.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric has announced that at a joint session of the Government of Serbia and all representatives of Serbian institutions in Kosovo, will be approved ''the most comprehensive package of assistance for the Serbs in Kosovo'', emphasizing that initiative for the joint session came from President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, reports portal NMagazin, quoting Belgrade based TV Prva.

Zoran Mojsilovic, the Serbian List MP, apologized to his Serb constituency today for his “imprudent” statements regarding the unannounced visit of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci to Zubin Potok last weekend. Speaking at the meeting of the parliamentary Committee on internal affairs, security and oversight of the Kosovo Security Force, Mojsilovic said that Thaci’s visit was “seen as a part of political process and dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina” and that „nothing happened “.

President and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Army Aleksandar Vucic has ordered the disengagement of the rapid response forces on Thursday morning.

KFOR spokesman Vincenzo Grasso said on Wednesday that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci was not accompanied by any paramilitary or special forces units when he went to the Gazivode lake and did not need permission from the NATO-led forces for the visit.

Secretary General of the Serbian President, Nikola Selakovic, thanked Moscow for the readiness to "call things with the real name", and on the Russian Foreign Ministry's condemnation of the passive behaviour of international forces in Kosovo.

Selakovic told the morning RTS News that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has accustomed public to regular meetings with the highest international officials, which before was not the case, adding that it is rare among other Western Balkan leaders.

Spokesperson of the Unite Nations Mission in Kosovo Sanam Dolatshahi  said in a qlarification that UNMIK's personnel was not informed or included in the visit of the president of Kosovo, Hasim Thaci, to Gazivode Lake on 29 September.

Abbot of Visoki Decani Monastery, Father Sava Janjic assessed that “proponents of Serbian territory division have not given up on their plan,” KIM Radio reports.

Commenting on Saturday’s event and tense situation around Gazivode lake, Abbot Janjic wrote on social networks that “while thousands of Kosovo Albanians are protesting in Pristina against the land-swap idea, Thaci with his heavily armed police intrudes Gazivode, handcuffs Serbs, creating incident to divert attention. KFOR must urgently calm the situation and prevent escalation of violence.”
