Regular communication needed between Serbian Army and KFOR, Vucic tells NATO military chief (FoNet, N1)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic urged regular communication between the Serbian military and KFOR during a meeting with NATO Military Committee Chairman Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach. A press release from the president’s cabinet quoted Vucic as saying that a need exists to quickly establish contact if security in jeopardized in the north of Kosovo. The Serbian President said that the presence of KFOR in Kosovo is a guarantee of security, adding that the international forces bear responsibility to react in crisis situations.

Wilson: Delivery of Russian arms to Serbia is irresponsible (N1, FoNet, VoA)

Atlantic Council official Damon Wilson told Voice of America that the delivery of Russian armored vehicles to Serbia is harmful and irresponsible.

A country that is on its way to the European Union should not accept weapons from Moscow, the Atlantic Council Executive Vice President said, adding that the supply of Russian arms to Serbia is an attempt to obstruct the normalization of the situation in the region.

Serbia’s and NATO generals discuss situation in Kosovo (Beta, N1)

Serbian military brass warns against "any coup attempts" (B92, Tanjug)

Serbia's top military officials met on Tuesday in Belgrade for a session of the Collegium of the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff.

According to announcements before the meeting, they discussed security situation in the country and its surroundings.

The Serbian Army will not allow any attempts at a coup and warns that anyone announcing and demanding a coup should be held responsible in line with the law, a statement issued after the meeting said.

Top Serbian military brass meeting in Belgrade (Tanjug, B92)

The Collegium of the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army will consider the security situation in the country and its surroundings.
