Dutch ambassador: Organised crime involved in irregular migration (Lajmi)
The Dutch Ambassador to Kosovo, Robert Bosch, said on Thursday that poor economic conditions are not a reason to seek asylum in the European countries. "People are leaving because they see no future. It may be economic reasons, but not necessarily, because with such issues are facing also other countries in the region,” said Bosch. "So there is no difference, the situation is more or less the same, there is poverty and no jobs,” Bosch said, adding that the migration of Kosovo people became a campaign where, as he said, organized crime was involved and were invented fantastic stories. Bosch made these comments during a debate on migration of Kosovo people in European countries, organized by the Coalition of NGOs "Kosovo Anti-Poverty Network" in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
