Kandic: How could you allow Dikovic enter Kosovo? (Indeksonline)
The Director of the Fund for Humanitarian Rights in Belgrade, Natasa Kandic, expressed her surprise with the decision of KFOR to allow entrance of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic, in Kosovo, being that he is accused for committing war crimes in Kosovo.
“I think that this is a very bad thing because it proves that KFOR probably is not informed about the position of the government of Kosovo towards some senior Serbian officials, who are public suspects for responsibility and participation in the war crimes, committed by the units that they commanded,” Kandic said in an interview for RTV Dukagjini. According to her, the government of Kosovo should decide on whether to allow KFOR to lead independent policy or stick to the decisions of Kosovo’s executive, when issues of great interest such as justice and wicked committed crimes are concerned. She added that the judicial process against Dikovic, continues tomorrow, while the Prosecution for war crimes is continuing with investigations, based on the charges of the Fund for violation of honor and reputation. She added that Kosovo should protect the rights of the victims’ families.
