Besnik Berisha, legal adviser to Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, told the news website there will be no changes or renegotiation of the agreement on Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities. According to him, the Constitutional Court has found no violation of the Constitution with this agreement. “The Constitutional Court made some remarks that should be taken into account by the drafters of the statute of the Association. Of course, we will strictly adhere the justifications given by the Constitutional Court and defend the constitutionality of this country ,” Berisha said. He said the opposition is making a wrong interpretation of the Court’s verdict and that the government will continue to work on drafting of a legal act as required by the Court. Berisha also said that the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities will not have executive competencies.
