Serbs give up neither ZSO, nor living in Kosovo and Metohija (Radio kontakt plus, KoSSev)

The Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities (ZSO) is not a political but rather living matter, and Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija shall never give up on it and would continue living in Kosovo and Meothija.

These are the main messages from a gathering Srpska Lista organized in Mitrovica North today, on the occasion of 2000 days since Pristina took over obligation to establish the ZSO, and the EU guaranteed it with its signature, Radio kontakt plus reports.

Srpska Lista calls for a rally today to mark „2000 days“ of having no ASM (KoSSev, TV Most)

Srpska Lista, in a statement issued by TV Most on Tuesday evening announced it will organize a rally on Wednesday to mark the „2000 days“ since the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities was supposed to be formed according to the Brussels Agreement, KoSSev portal reported.

The rally is to be organised close to the Ibar Bridge.

Kosovo police prevented Vinka Radosavljevic to cross Jarinje (TV Most)

Coordinator of the Management Team for the establishment of Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities (ACSM), Vinka Radosavljevic was prevented on Saturday by the Kosovo police to cross Jarinje point and continue her journey towards Raska, TV Most reported.

Vucic: Nothing happening regarding ZSO, Pristina’s only goal is to take over north of KiM (TV Most)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic opined today the only goal of Pristina is to take over the northern Kosovo, that the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities (ZSO) does not interest them, while the deadline for ZSO expires on August 4, but it is clear, as he said in the past, nothing would come of that, TV Most reported.

President Vucic made these remarks in Ostruznica where he was visiting the construction works on a bypass road in the vicinity of Belgrade.

Management Team for the establishment of Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities met today with directors of the largest healthcare institutions active in Serb-majority municipalities, who provided a number of useful suggestions regarding the future situation and health needs of communities, Radio Kosovska Mitrovica reported.

Meeting with Braathu (Vecernje Novosti)

Members of Management Team for establishing Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities met in Mitrovica North with OSCE Head of Mission, Jan Braathu, Vecernje Novosti reports today.

Coordinator of the Management Team, Vinka Radosavljevic informed Ambassador Braathu on current activities, adding that the Management Team established cooperation with a group of legal professionals, delegated by northern municipalities and Law Faculty of the Pristina University, currently located in Mitrovica North.

Kocijancic: EU for urgent implementation of agreement on ZSO (Tanjug, KIM Radio)

Belgrade and Pristina conduct a dialogue on normalization of relations, and within it an agreement on forming the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities should be implemented without further delays, EU Commission Spokesperson Maja Kocijancic told Tanjug news agency, adding that the work on a new phase of a dialogue, necessary for a legally binding agreement commenced in parallel.

“We are very clear when we say that full implementation of the agreements made in dialogue is urgently needed,” Kocijancic added.

Dacic: EU suffers from muteness and deafness when it comes to Serbia (Vecernje Novosti)

Kosovo is a priority in all Serbian diplomatic activities, Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic told Novosti daily, adding that the visit of Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel is important since this country would now have more understanding for Serbia.

Dacic emphasized it is important “to reach to everyone,” but he does not expect the EU would act differently now.

“The EU suffers from a serious disease, and it is muteness and deafness when it comes to Serbia. Maybe this disease can be cured, but one should work on it,” Dacic said.

Despite numerous statements and messages that Srpska Lista would independently initiate the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities on April 20th, it has however decided to wait, KIM Radio reports today.

This is not first time that Srpska Lista announces and then pulls back from independent establishment of the ZSO. Although ZSO has been agreed in Brussels five years ago, it still remains “a dead letter on paper,” KIM Radio further said.
