The French Ambassador to Kosovo, Maryse  Daviet, appealed for the continuation of the discussions with Serbia, and stressed that they are beneficial for the future of Kosovo. She once again stressed the support of France in Kosovo’s journey towards European integration. Daviet made these statements during a lecture held in front of the students of AAB College.

She said discussions between Kosovo and Serbia are a national benefit for Kosovo. “The dialogue with Serbia is not against Kosovo’s national interests, it is not against Kosovars. The dialogue is the best way to defend your national interests and guarantee the process of integration,” Daviet said.

She also added that corruption continues to be a visible problem in Kosovo. “It is in the hands of the citizens and politicians how they decide to regulate their state. Your major problem is corruption,  your relation with the European Union is contractual and it does not go with this level of corruption,” Daviet said.
