Deputy Minister of the Local Government, Bajram Gecaj, took to Facebook to reply to the director of the Office for Kosovo at the Serbian government, Marko Djuric, who considered that the effort of Kosovo to create an army was dangerous.

“Mr. Djuric, the time has already proved that the only dangerous army in the region is that of Serbia. Kosovo Army will belong to all its citizens, and different from the practices of the past of the Serbian army, it will have entirely a defensive character. Therefore, no one should fear such an army, which will certainly establish, but it will function according to the internationally recognized democratic standards, applied in the NATO friendly and democratic countries,” Gecaj wrote.
