EU to Rama: Political interruptions breach neighborly relations (Lajmi)

The European Union has reacted to the statements of the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, saying that political interference breaches good neighborly relations.

The Spokesperson of the European Commission, Maja Kociajancic, said that the region of Western Balkans has a clear European perspective, as confirmed recently by the European Council.

“We work with all partners in the region to reach this goal, based on the principals of regional reconciliation and cooperation.” She stressed that any form of political interference breaches the good neighborly relations in the region.

Rama was quoted as saying yesterday that the possibility of unification of Albania with Kosovo is not excluded if there is no chance of EU membership.
