The leader of the Alliance for New Kosovo, Behxhet Pacolli, hailed the position of the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, who according to Pacolli, accepted the new reality in Kosovo.

He said that in essence, Vucic’s position opens way to normalization of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia, “of course by also closing the matter of the missing persons which is a serious wound for many families here and in the entire Kosovo.”

“Kosovo does not claim on anything that it does not belong to it, just as it is not ready to give anything that belongs to it,” Pacolli wrote further.

“The road towards progress and integration starts only when the reality is accepted, and when one stops living in dreams and myths. The project of EU integration is also our aim; therefore, it is natural that that aim cannot be achieved by living in myths and lies. This manner and this approach of the Serbian state leadership opens way to intensification of constructive dialogue between the two countries,” Pacolli wrote on his Facebook page.
