LDK and AAK both to appeal against Istog election ruling (Telegrafi)

The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, said in a press conference that the decision of the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) for a revote in the municipality of Istog is not what the party requested when it appealed against the mayoral results that showed the candidate of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) winning 19 November runoff election. Mustafa said the LDK plans to appeal ECAP decision to the Supreme Court as it did not ask for a complete revote but for annulment of mailed ballots which the party alleges were subject to manipulations.

Meanwhile, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has also announced it plans to appeal against ECAP ruling today. The party claims decision to order a revote is ungrounded.
