Kadri Veseli’s secret mission (Zeri)
The paper’s editor Lavdim Hamidi, writes in an opinion piece today that the President of the Assembly, Kadri Veseli, should be held accountable for the latest developments in the Assembly. According to the author, Veseli should not call a session without creating workable conditions for it. "Even with unreasonable actions of the opposition trying to prevent the session, the ruling parties had the tendency to adopt laws in such conditions. This way of adopting laws will not contribute at all in unblocking the work of the Assembly. Veseli's strategy is to benefit in such political situation where everyone is blaming Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and his deputy Hashim Thaci, especially because of the recent agreements reached with Serbia. Mustafa is a burnt candidate for prime minister in future elections, not only in LDK but also internationally. If Hashim Thaci becomes President, then Veseli might be able to realize his secret mission, to become Kosovo’s Prime Minister. Therefore, Veseli is taking a neutral stance with the opposition because he might need also their political in the future.”
