Kosovo Serbs Feel Abandoned by Europe (Balkan Insight)
Antonia Battaglia, researcher and published author, writes in a commentary that the fate of Kosovo Serbs is a test for EU and its efforts to normalise relations between Pristina and Belgrade could fail to bring forward the desired effect, until both EU and local officials take into full account the needs of the Kosovo Serb community as well. She writes that many Kosovo Serbs complain that the EU’s approach does not address their concerns while their rights are at the same time not adequately safeguarded by either Belgrade or Pristina.
