Joksimovic: If there is no solution, there would be no status quo (Tanjug)

Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy, Aleksandra Joksimovic told Tanjug news agency that Belgrade-Pristina negotiations are entering the final phase and the picture would be clearer in September whether there would be a legally binding agreement on normalization of relations between the two sides. According to Joksimovic it goes in no one’s favour to prolong the resolution of the Kosovo issue. “It seems to me that if there is no solution reached at this moment, there would be no status quo as it was until now, but the situation would get significantly complicated,” Jankovic believes. She added it is interest of Serbia to resolve this issue, so it can focus on the future, reforms, European integration and this could move the society ahead, Tanjug news agency reported.
