Ministry of returns must exist in the new government (RTK2)
Outgoing Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic said that Serbs must fight for return and survival through the institutions. Jevtic believes that there will be no new elections, because it is not in the interest of the parties which became parliamentary parties after elections. "New elections would influence many processes and the daily lives of people. In that sense, I think we should move in the direction of solving these problems, whereas new elections would only create more problems. "
Jevtic believes that all those who support the idea that the Ministry of Communities and Returns should be repealed, and such requests could be heard also from the members of the Serbian community, are against the Serbs’ return. "Everyone who advocates, publicly or otherwise, that institutions which are dealing with the issue of the return should repeal, doesn’t think good, not only to the Serbian community but also to other minority communities. I believe that the return and sustainable stay are priority, and this can best be achieved through the institutions. "
Termination of dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade can only worsen the situation on the ground, evaluates the Minister of Communities and Returns, in the outgoing Government. "I believe that the international community and the EU will not allow the new government, whoever it will be, to incite an initiative for termination of the dialogue. Some agreed solutions didn’t contribute to a better life of people, such as insurance and taxes for vehicles, but still the dialogue must exist. There are problems on both sides, and these problems must be resolved through dialogue," said Dalibor Jevtic.
