Trajkovic: Disagreements in US administration over Kosovo solution (Danas)
Serb politician from Kosovo and Metohija, Rada Trajkovic thinks it is normal to have disagreements within the US administration over the way on how Serbs and Albanians would come to an agreement, Danas daily reports.
She added, that the State Department, maybe supports a compromise solution reached by Belgrade and Pristina. However, according to her, this does not mean that Congress and the Senate and other institutions these solutions would need to go through would make no pressure and decide otherwise, Trajkovic explained.
Trajkovic also noted that based on information she has, French President Emanuel Macron changed the stance on division of Kosovo and he is no longer supporting it. Trajkovic also claims that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic by supporting division of Kosovo in the most direct way “abolishes” Hashim Thaci for organ trafficking and all other crimes related to ethnic cleansing of Serbs as well as crimes against humanity.
Commenting on the process of Kosovo army establishment, she noted that support of US official Mathew Palmer “serves to the horrible destabilization of the region.”
“If two Albanian states from both sides of Prokletije Mountain, are to have their own armies, recognized by the US, then it would be a drastic disturbance of the regional balance and would constitute a dangerous precedent,” Trajkovic warned.
