Jevtic: Robberies in Grabac indicate why returns process got halted (KIM Radio)
“Breaking into and looting the houses, as well as intrusion in the house of old woman Ilinka Nesic, that took place last night in the village of Grabac, Klina municipality, clearly indicate why better results could not be achieved in the returns process, outgoing Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic said, KIM Radio reported today.
Jevtic underlined that such incidents send a clear message there is no readiness on the side of those who should provide conditions for return to do so in a concrete manner.
“Frequent thefts in Novo Brdo, cattle thefts in Plemetina, series of thefts in Velika Hoca, clearly point out there is an intention to intimidate Serbs, force them to leave their properties, but also a to send a clear message to all those indenting to return, that they are not welcome. Responsible bodies that should solve these cases urgently, do not do enough to resolve them, which additionally complicates the situation and creates uncertainty among those affected by these incidents,” Jevtic said, KIM Radio reported.
