Jovic: Delineation should be discussed because of peace (Tanjug, RTS)

Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Damjan Jovic said that the delineation is something worth discussing at the moment, with the aim to reach a lasting peace, Tanjug news agency reported. Jovic added question remains whether the discussion would occur or not, and what could be its result, since it does not depend only upon the good will from Belgrade. Responding to journalist’s question what the politics for Kosovo was, for which Serbian President earlier stated that it has faced defeat, Jovic responded he cannot discuss about details on what is happening at the negotiation table, at the moment when agreement that can be reached is not even close, but that delineation is something worth discussing. He added, it is about an initiative Serbia put forward, and he thinks, at this historic moment, it is the most favourable solution for reaching the lasting peace. Jovic also repeated the stance that the Serbian Government is resolutely against establishment of any armed forces in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, saying the arguments for that are based on the UN SC Resolution 1244 and Kumanovo Military-Technical Agreement, Serbian media reported.
