Aleksandar Jablanovic says resignations unilateral move of Serbian List (Voice of America)
President of the Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) Aleksandar Jablanovic, whose members did not attend the extraordinary session of Leposavic Municipal Assembly, nor were they consulted about that session, opined that this is a unilateral move of the Serbian List, and not the unified decision of Serbian representatives, Voice of America reports.
Leader of PKS Jablanovic told the Voice of America that his party opposes the increase of taxes by 100 percent, but also opposes the moves of the Serbian List, which, as he said “for the umptieth time, has misused the people for their personal interests”.
“The decision of Kosovo Government (on taxes) is certainly wrong and it should be corrected in a different way, but we should not forget, not even for a single moment, that the Serbian List was drinking coffee with Ramush Haradinaj until yesterday, made agreements on all decisions, gave support to that Government.”
“Today they want to play a role of great Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica, at the expense of ordinary citizens who have been fighting for survival in the north of Kosovo and Metohija for 18 years, instead of protecting our citizens from this political maltreatment, of any kind, and also from forced participation at the rallies, as it was the case yesterday,” Jablanovic stressed.
