N1: Kosovo Serb List ignores invitation to election campaign debate

The Serb List ignored an invitation for a debate attended by other Kosovo Serb parties at the start of the campaign for the October 6 parliamentary elections.

All three Kosovo Serb parties and one coalition were invited to the debate in Caglavica. Officials of the Freedom (Sloboda) coalition, Party of Kosovo Serbs and Serb Liberal Party showed up for the debate. The Serb List which has the support of official Belgrade did not show up.

After the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo condemned the setting on fire a vehicle belonging to Doctor Dragisa Milovic and former President of Zvecan Municipality, Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS), headed by Aleksandar Jablanovic also condemned this incident, KoSSev reported.

“This attack is yet another alarm for all international structures in Pristina that crime and violence in the north of Kosovo are becoming a widely accepted manner of clashes and sending political messages,” PKS press release said.

Simic: Appeals Commission accepted six out of seven Srpska Lista complaints (BETA, KIM Radio)

Leader of a political party Civic Initiative Srpska Lista, Slavko Simic stated yesterday that Election Appeals and Complaints Commission accepted 6 out of 7 complaints from the party related to the results of the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Kosovo, Beta agency reported.

“The Srpska Lista submitted 7 complaints, and the Commission made positive decisions on 6 of them,” Simic stated, adding that individual candidates from the list submitted 4 more complaints.

Simić: Priština behind Jablanović clan (KIM radio)

President of the Serbian List Slavko Simić says that there is no doubt that Pristina is trying to provoke tensions ahead of elections in Kosovo, reported KIM radio.

He said that this is the role of some supposedly Serbian politicians who are nominated by Albanian parties in order to abuse them for their own interests.

Simić told reporters that the mayor of Leposavić/Leposaviq Dragan Jablanović and his son Aleksandar are a clan in the service of Pristina.

Jablanović charged for the illegal possession of a weapon (Kontakt plus radio, KIM radio)

Regional Head of Operations of the Kosovo Police for North told Kontakt Plus radio that the case was opened by order of the prosecutor.

After consultation with the competent prosecutor, against the president of PKS Aleksandar Jablanović were filed criminal charges for unauthorized possession and use of weapons, after yesterday's incident in Leposavić/Leposaviq.

Movement of Socialists: Pristina wants to prevent Vulin to be with the Serbs in Kosovo (Blic)

Socialist Movement believes that this decision of Pristina is a shameful and calculated one, to not allow the President of Movement of Socialists Aleksandar Vulin to reside in Kosovo and so prevent him to be with the Serbs in Kosovo.

"They failed so far, they will not succeed and in the future. The Agreement on Movement of Serbian officials is most severely violated, we urge the European Union to respond and sanction the outrageous conduct of Pristina", it was said in a statement of the party, reports daily Blic.

Aleksandar Jablanovic, leader of Kosovo Serbs Party  was released late last night, after being detained by Kosovo Police for being involved in an incident.

“I and some colleagues were close to the offices of our party, and we noticed activists of the Serbian List putting marketing posters of the Serbian Party, and there was no fighting, or clash or gun use,” said Jablanovic.
