Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic met in Belgrade with Bosnian Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic, RTS reports.
The two officials discussed situation created in the aftermath of Pristina’s discriminatory decision to impose taxes on the goods from Serbia and B&H. They agreed that this measure practically stopped trade of the two countries with Pristina.
They also voiced concern over the lack of effect and mild reactions of the international community, that so far failed to convince Pristina to revoke the measures.
Ljajic and Sarovic agreed to send a joint letter to the EU member states, given that the meeting of the Council for Stabilization and Association to the EU and Kosovo would be held on December 17, where implementation of Stabilization and Association Agreement by institutions in Pristina would also be discussed.
They deem it as a last chance of the EU to request Pristina to urgently and without delays lifts measures, otherwise it would be necessary to request suspension of Stabilization and Association Agreement between the EU and Kosovo, RTS reported.
