The Serbian List says that only in the first six months of this year, according to the data of international organizations, there were 173 ethnically motivated incidents and attacks on Serbs in Kosovo, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

The Serbian List and the Serbian people in Kosovo deny the cynical assessment by Hashim Thaci that the Serbs feel safe after the creation of the so-called Kosovo army, reads the statement of the Serbian List.

"And this lie of Hashim Thaci has the goal of falsifying the real situation in Kosovo and Metohija and presenting the reality in a distorted way," say the Serbian list.

Serbian List assesses that Thaci's "insolence is almost surreal" and stated that according to the data of international organizations, 173 ethnically motivated incidents and attacks against Serbs were recorded in the first six months of this year, and by the end of the year this figure is likely to rise to 300.

"The Serbs, contrary to Thaci's claims, feel exactly life threatened because of the unlawful establishment of the so-called Kosovo Army, which aims to force full Albanian domination in Kosovo and Metohija," says the Serbian list.

They also point out that this illegal creation is undoubtedly anti-Serb for them, and that Serbs will never voluntarily participate in it, because, as they say, it was created to be engaged against the Serbian people and Serbia, and that is its sole mandate.

"Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija do not believe in Hashim Thaçi nothing, and they expect assistance and support from their country of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic, who they support and who they only trust," the Serbian List concludes in a statement.

Thaci has previously stated that the Serbs in Kosovo feel "cosy and comfortable" due to the decision on the formation of Kosovo army and that Serbia has no reason for concern.
