Kosovo procurement agency invites offers for Serbian goods (N1)

Kosovo’s Central Public Procurement Agency has published a tender worth 23.5 million Euros for a number of products including some from Serbia despite the 100 percent tariffs on Serbian goods.

The list of products includes Eurokrem, Plazma and Petit Buerre biscuits, Vegeta spices, sardines, Red Bull and other Serbian products.

One person at the Agency is facing a disciplinary commission over the tender, charged with violating the law on public procurement which bans the naming of specific brands. The Agency cited special conditions which would allow it name the products from Serbian makers.

The so-called Plazma tender has been revoked for review.
