Fatherland Movement calls for boycott of elections (KoSSev)
Serb National Movement Fatherland once again called for the boycott of the upcoming mayoral elections in the four northern municipalities, claiming that “the current regime of Aleksandar Vucic forces citizens” to take part in elections, KoSSev portal reported.
Fatherland Movement said in a statement all those employed in remaining Serbian public institutions (health care and education) along with their family members are obliged to take part in elections and vote for Srpska Lista.
The Movement also said the claims that “Albanians would take over the power in Serbian municipalities” if the Serbs do not participate in elections are part of “heinous campaign.” Fatherland added the “main reason for participation of the Serbs in these elections is in the fact that Aleksandar Vucic wants to present himself to the West as the only person in Serbia today wanting to sign a comprehensive peace agreement with Pristina.”
