Vucic: We have prepared strong measures as response to Pristina (RTS)
President Aleksandar Vucic spoke today with political representatives of Serbs and the most important Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija, RTS reports. We have prepared strong measures of limited character as a response to Pristina’s behavior, however we would wait for the meeting in Paris, Vucic told RTS, after the meeting.
“We have prepared the measures. We would take care they do not affect the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and that is why they are limited; however, they are very strong and sharp. We won’t start with them before the meeting in Paris is completed,” Vucic said.
He added, his task in Paris would be to inform the representatives of Europe, Chancellor Merkel and President Macron about Serbia’s response after nine months of anti-civilizational tariffs, resolution on so-called genocide, establishment of an army and the lack of implementation of the Brussels agreement by Pristina.
President Vucic voiced concern over, as he said, preparation of Kosovo police ROSU and FIT units to arrest several dozens of Serbs and urged the international community to prevent that.
“In the madness of the Albanian parties’ struggle for rating, Serbs always suffer,” Vucic said, urging Quint member states to try to prevent new provocations that aim at not only arresting but also expelling the Serbian population.
Around 140 Serb representatives from Kosovo, Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric and Secretary General of the Serbian Presidency Nikola Selakovic attended the meeting in the Palace of Serbia.
