On the twentieth anniversary of the adoption of Resolution 1244 in the UN Security Council in New York, the latest UN report will be presented, while Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic will point out the need to continuously review the Kosovo issue at the Council's meetings and the consistent implementation of the UNMIK and KFOR mission, report state broadcaster RTS.

Nenad Zafirovic, RTS correspondent from Washington, says that although the expectations of this session are not large and no common conclusions are expected, due to the split of the Security Council members, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic will warn of ''possibly new attack on north Kosovo and will demand greater engagement of KFOR on the ground''.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Veljko Odalovic told RTS that it is extremely important that from the place where Resolution 1244 was passed, is heard what is happening in Kosovo just because of the creator of ‘'a quasi-state of Kosovo'' whose interest is to remove this topic from the SC.

'' I expect the sessions to continue, because you cannot talk everywhere about it apart from the place where you have to,'' said Odalovc.

Resolution 1244 is deformed because it does not have no ''quasi-states of Kosovo'', and reports from UNMIK show that the truth is blurred because it does not mention any of the brutal attacks in northern Kosovo, Odalovic told RTS.
