Vucic comments Serwer's statement: He can forget that movie, he and everyone else (Tanjug, B92)
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated that he was ready to compromise on the solution of the Kosovo problem, but that he was not ready for the Belgrade to give everything, without getting anything, reports Tanjug.
Vucic thus commented on the statement by professor of Washington University John Hopkins and the Balkans expert Daniel Serwer that Vucic was not ready for a historic compromise.
"I'm ready for a compromise, but I'm not ready that we give everything, without getting anything. He and everyone else can forget that movie," Vucic said.
Server told Voice of America that people in Washington are "carried away" about the Serbian president being ready to make a historic compromise.
He did not specify what it means under a historic compromise but has repeatedly said in previous interviews that the outcome of the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina should be a mutual recognition and membership of Kosovo in the UN.
