Office for KiM: Assistant Director Jovic prohibited from entering Kosovo (Serbian media)
The office for Kosovo and Metohija states that Assistant Director of the Office in charge of the protection of cultural heritage, Dusan Jovovic was not allowed today to enter Kosovo through Jarinje crossing, reported Serbian media.
The Office for KiM press release stated that Jovovic planned to visit two Serbian monasteries in Kosovo, where the Office funded the construction of a monastery lodgings and an art workshop.
The office stressed that “Pristina will not be able to prevent, by any prohibitions, the state of Serbia from helping its people and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and Metohija”.
“Preventing the representatives of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija from doing their job is an illegal and uncivilized act of hostility to the Serbian people and their culture in the southern province,” the Office for Kosovo and Metohija said.
